Rooted in Brampton, Ready to Serve

I’m a proud father, family man, and entrepreneur who believes that strong communities are built on shared values and everyday connections. My journey began in Sultanpur Lodhi, Punjab—our holy city blessed by the presence of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. His teachings of equality, service, and humility deeply influence how I live, work, and serve others. Our family carries an even deeper legacy: my ancestors Baba Mahesh Das Dhir were granted the 3rd Manji by Guru Amar Das Ji at Goindwal Sahib to preach Sikhism and God’s message—a sacred responsibility of seva that continues to guide me today. Coming from a business family that also worked the land, I learned early that growth means nothing without gratitude and giving back. Even now, we stay connected to our roots through family farming back home.

Over 13 years ago, I made Brampton my home. What started as a career in IT soon evolved into a journey of business, community service, and leadership. Living here has taught me that success isn’t just about personal progress—it’s about helping our neighbours thrive and taking care of the place we all share.

My wife is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University at Buffalo in New York, and together we’re raising our three-year-old toddler right here in Brampton—a city that has given us so much and continues to inspire me every day. Surrounded by family, relatives, and friends across this city, I see both its incredible promise and the challenges we need to address.

Guided by these values and the preaching legacy entrusted to my ancestors by Guru Amar Das Ji, I believe true leadership comes from selfless service. Like many Bramptonians, I’m proud of how far we’ve come, but I know we can do better. That’s why I’m stepping forward—to listen, uplift, and bring real change. For me, it’s not about politics—it’s personal.

Priorities for Ward 2 & 6

Real issues, practical solutions — grounded in community, not ideology.

Transparent City Hall

Foster open governance with regular updates — ward town halls, public spending dashboards, and a councillor who is always accessible and accountable to you.

Infrastructure Before Development

Ensuring roads, transit, parks, and services are built before new developments arrive — so growth serves our community, not the other way around.

Safer Streets

Prioritize community safety with enhanced patrols and neighbourhood policing partnerships to make every block safer for families.

Better Transit

More frequent bus routes, expanded GO connectivity, and infrastructure built for the people who rely on transit every day.

Empower Small Business

Cutting red tape, speeding up permits, and creating a Queen Street revitalization plan that lifts local entrepreneurs.
